Home made flavored vodka.  The first DIY from my previous inspiration post I attempted was home made infused fruit vodkas.  My thinking was that by making the ingredients for some cocktails, I could have some fuel to get the creative juices flowing to do other DIY’s and if I let them sit for the recommended month, they’ll also be ready in time for my 4th of July Bash.

The ingredients... didn't end up using the thyme or lime.

Step 5. Let sit for 1 week to 1 month depending on how potent and fragrant you want it. Then enjoy in some sort of pretty cocktail like these babies.

As for now, these guys are sitting in my kitchen cabinet, infusing with fruity goodness.  I’m starting with basic recipes and then once I get the hang of it, I may go on to some fancier combos like jalapeno tequila or thyme-lemon vodka.  I’ll let y’all know how they turn out.  What flavor combo would you do?

PS. I know this has been a boozy week so far.  I promise non-alcoholic posts coming tomorrow.
