Happy belated St. Patty’s Day weekend! As I said in my previous post, we celebrated in every aspect of our daily lives from eating to drinking to even a wee bit of jigging. Yes jigging, we like our Cranberries and Chieftains around these parts and no I’m not even a wee bit Irish. With regards to drinking, I love beer and surprisingly don’t mind the taste of Guinness/ stout, but can’t drink it all day. Therefore, I played around a bit with some various cocktails. I could also kick myself because I forgot one of the key ingredients to the main cocktail I was planning to make… sigh… another time. Below are two of the cocktails I did in fact have the ingredients to make so enjoy…

Ingredients:
- Guinness
- Hard cider (such as Woodchuck)
- Apple slice (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Pour equal parts stout (Guinness) and hard cider in a Collin’s glass.
- Garnish with apple slice.
- Enjoy your Irish Snakebite, but beware, after a bit the venom is lethal.
The other coc
ktail that didn’t go over as well as its namesake.. the Trojan Horse, coke mixed with Guinness. I love coke and I love Guinness, but please don’t mix the two for me.
How were y’all’s St. Patty’s weekends? Did you make any Guinness cocktail or even Irish cocktails for that matter?
